Box one carbon 1-1/8 inch integrated headset

There's more to our carbon headsets than just their good looks. From top to bottom, the Box One™ carbon headset was designed to deliver performance. Each unit features a custom CNC machined aluminum compression cap shaped like the Box logo with cutouts to reduce weight. In the center of the compression cap is an anodized aluminum bolt that screws into a gold anodized aluminum expansion cap. This expander eliminates the need for a star nut and works with all 1-1/8 inch head tubes, even carbon fiber head tubes.

The bearing cover is made from carbon fiber, which not only adds style but also helps reduce weight.

And at the heart of the headset are two super-smooth, titanium nitride coated sealed bearings measuring 45x45. The titanium coating results in a low coefficient of friction, increased corrosion resistance and smoother bearings.

A split crown bushing makes installing and removing the forks super easy.
