All Box headsets are designed and manufactured using our oversized technology. Following the load paths along the handlebars, through the stem-handlebar interface, we arrive at the focal point of the headset. Since any steering stiffness can easily be lost due to play in the headset, we have focused our attention on manufacturing tolerances and material quality for the bearing, CNC bearing cover and crown ring . Now that this junction is solid, you can rest assured that the steering stiffness from your cockpit will transfer to the fork. Paired with Box's other oversized components, you'll experience increased responsiveness and reduced latency.

Key Differences: In this particular headset model, we opted for a 1.5 inch lower crown ring to accommodate a tapered head tube. This pairs with our oversized X5 carbon fork. Larger, smoother contact areas effectively distribute the load and counter flex.
